Article #: 12

As part of our initiative to make our systems and platform more secure, we are implementing various security measures to prevent any form of abuse by unwanted actors. To protect your account, we request you to update your cPanel password for your Shared hosting product before 10th June 2022.  It will just take a couple of minutes.

Steps to Change Your cPanel Password

To assist you in changing your cPanel password, you can find detailed instructions in our knowledge base articles below. We recommend that you login to your account by visiting our website directly or via your web browser's bookmark.

Note: If you not do not update your password by 10th June 2022, we will assign randomly generated passwords to your orders, to ensure complete coverage of this security activity. You will still be able to auto login to your cPanel/WHM account, and be able to reset your password with steps from the links above.

These are small changes to ensure the best security for your Hosting orders. All functionalities of your cPanel and the auto login to your cPanel/WHM account from our control panels will remain unaffected. Please ensure that in case you are using third party services like SiteLock or CodeGuard, the new passwords are updated in those services as well.

Lastly, we recommend that you update your hosting passwords on a regular basis to do your bit to ensure security.
